Longleat Safari and Adventure Park
Longleat’s Rockin Rhino Ride
We recently visited Longleat’s Rockin Rhino Ride which is now open. Children have to be over 90cm to ride this so it’s not for very little ones unfortunately. Harry is 102cm and his sisters (Emmie and Mae) are 10 and 8 so they were able to ride.
The queuing area is on a slight incline to the platform of the ride, but we had no problem waiting as the rides move quite fast. There is also a toilet right next to the ride.
You have a choice of two animals to ride, a lion or a rhino which both take you around a safari trip to visit all the animals. As you can imagine its not a very smooth ride and you are happily bounced around the course while enjoying sound effects and taking in the scenery. All the children really enjoyed it and went on it twice. It’s a nice addition to Longleat and welcomed as there are no other rides.
The only thing that is slightly annoying is they’ve conveniently put the exit of the ride into the gift shop.
